Classes in the Empire State Building.  Midtown Manhattan apartment living.  A rigorous education.  Biblical principles and true ideas.  Just a few buzzwords that might catch the ear of a potential King's student.

The King’s College seeks ambitious students who want to come to the world's most influential city, work hard, receive a great education, and leave with the skills and willingness it takes to make a difference in the world. The College aims to contribute to American society by producing graduates who command the important intellectual traditions, who think lucidly about the social and political issues that confront them today, who write with force and flair, who speak with eloquence, and who are eager to exchange ideas in open debate with those who espouse different views. Thinking well, writing well, speaking well—those are the invaluable skills all colleges should aim to develop, and at King's, helping students develop those skills is our primary educational goal.

The King’s College educates students to lead with a commitment to Biblical principles as they aspire to make America better. We prepare students for principled leadership. And nothing less.

Many selective colleges and universities, of course, have staked their claim to the word "leadership," so how does King’s differ?

We mean something surprisingly difficult. Leadership to us requires facility in complex ideas and the sophistication to guide the strategic institutions of society: government, business, law, the media, civil society, education, the arts, and the church. With a demanding curriculum and a campus in the heart of New York City, King’s is not for the timid soul.

To accomplish this, the College teaches a compelling worldview rooted in the Bible and informed by close study of great works of philosophy, political theory, and economics. We study Paul and Plato; Moses and Machiavelli; Adam and Adam Smith.

If you're interested in a career that influences American or international policy; today's film, news, music, theater, fashion, or visual arts industries; domestic or international business; educational policy; or the way we speak about and deliver justice around the world, then The King's College just might be the place for you. To visit our campus in the Empire State Building, check out our special page for visiting at http://www.tkc.edu/admissions/visiting/, and come out to one of our Official Visit Weekends in the fall or spring. We really believe in what's going on at King's, so if you get a chance to visit us and see for yourself during one of those weekends, we offer a Visit Scholarship, dinner in Times Square, and a free Broadway play! To go ahead and apply, open up your schedule for a couple quick minutes and visit http://www.tkc.edu/apply. We look forward to getting to know you and even getting to meet you here in the Big Apple!
